Beverly Fusilier was born on July 24, 1961 to Joseph Fusilier, Jr. and Theresa J. Nells, affectionately known as "Bev" by family and friends. Beverly received Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Hugh Traylor at New First Corinthians Baptist Church. Later in her Christian journey, she moved her membership to New. Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Troy L. Smith, Sr.
Beverly received her education in the Terrebonne Parish School District. She had a special kind of love for all people. Just to name a few, her mother Mrs. Theresa Jones Nells. "Bev" was well loved by all of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, God-children, cousins, and friends, but she shared a special relationship with her great niece, Ayani Fusilier, and her two devoted friends: Joyce Williams Nixon and Mable Lyons.
To know Bev was to love her. She was a woman who was big on spending time with family and had an infectious smile and brought joy and happiness to any environment. She was one who would get her point across by any means necessary, even if she had to get vocal about it. Her enjoyment and entertainment were playing cards and playing bingo.
On August 13, 2024, at 9:30AM, while surrounded by her family and friends, God decided to grant Beverly Fusilier Brown admission into His care.
