Abbeville, LA- Funeral services for Mr. Calvin George, 60, will be Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Fields Funeral Home Chapel with visitation at 11:00 AM until the time of services.

Calvin George was born on April 25, 1964 to Dorothy Mae George and Joseph Boudreaux in Lafayette, LA. He was a resident of Abbeville, LA. Calvin went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 11, 2024 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, La. surrounded by family.

Calvin loved to cook, but his favorite was to go fishing and spending time with his grandson. He was a kind, giving, and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Calvin leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Belita George; 1 son: Keenan Carter; One (1) daughter: Amber Carter (Frank); One (1) brother: Wilson George; One (1) grandson: Brandon Dietz; other relatives and friends.

Calvin is reunited in glory with his parents: Joseph Boudreaux and Dorothy Mae George, and brothers Sydney and Michael George.
