Christopher Paul Bernard was born to Faye Bernard and the late James Sampay on April 3, 1975. He transitioned from this life at 8:59 AM on February 15, 2024 at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas following a brief illness. Chris, as his family & close friends called him, worked as a Farmer during his earlier years. He was known for his laid back, but silly demeanor. He loved a good joke and a good laugh. He also loved spending time with the people he loved. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted mother, Faye Bernard of New Iberia, LA; one brother, James Bernard, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; three nieces, Morassia Feast (Lance) of Jeanerette, LA; SaNya Bernard of New Iberia, LA; and Jamaysha Bernard of Memphis, TN; one nephew, Sakentrey James of New Iberia, LA; nine great nieces & nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
