Humble, TX- The life of Ms. Crystal Sherrell Johnson ,36, will be celebrated during a final service on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11:00AM in the Fields Funeral Home Chapel. You may visit Crystal and her family and friends from 10:00AM until the time of services. Previous services were held on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 11:00AM at New Jerusalem Whole Truth Church, 6524 Bender Road, Humble, Texas 77396 with Pastor Lisa Ojesina, officiant and Pastor Joseph Brayden, eulogist. The family received guests at 9:00 AM until the time of services. Crystal will wait the resurrection at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Jeanerette, Louisiana, where she will be resting, following the final services

Crystal Sherrell Johnson was born on November 22, 1987 to Kenneth Johnson, Sr. and Jena Jackson-Kemp in Lafayette, LA. She was a resident of Humble, TX. Crystal transitioned on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Memorial Herman Northeast Hospital in Humble, TX at 1:47 PM surrounded by family and friends.

Crystal was one who truly loved God, her family, her church, her church family, and her true friends. She was a pillar in her church. She worked with the Youth department, she sang with the church's music ministry; wherever she was needed, she was a willing vessel.

She leaves to cherish her life and memory, her loving father Kenneth J. Johnson, Sr.; her step-mother, whom she loved unconditionally: Sharon M. Johnson; four (4) sisters: Vanessa Jackson, LaTasha Jackson, Tajiana Mouton, and Keiron Fant; four (4) brothers: Howard Jackson, Thomas Jackson, Isaiah Jackson, and Kenneth Johnson, Jr.; her best friend, whom was like a sister: Brittany Gaddie; two (2) God-children: Gabrielle Makenzie White and Jade Pearl-Elizabeth Gaddie; two (2) nieces: Massiah Bostic and Neveah Leonard; three (3) nephews: Jace Johnson, Asher Johnson, and Kainen Jaubert; a host of other relatives and friends.

Crystal is reunited in glory with her mother: Jena Jackson-Kemp; her maternal and paternal grandparents; her aunts and uncles.
