Franklin, LA - Services for Mr. DeBriante Javon Scott, 31, who passed on Sunday, October 13, 2024 will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Fields Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Ulysses Mitchell Officiating.

DeBriante, affectionately known as Dee-Dee, was called to his eternal rest on October 13, 2024, in Lafayette, LA. He was born on December 14, 1992 to Mr. Brian Williams, and Shonette Scott in Morgan City, LA. He was a resident of Franklin, LA.

DeBriante was a very sociable person who enjoyed working with other people. He worked for Burger King, Circle K, Cash Magic, and was also very good with electronics and even did mechanic work. There was nothing short about DeBriante. He also was an artist, like his grandmother, whom he would always check on and care for, and enjoyed making Tik-Tok videos.

DeBriante is reunited in the afterlife with his mother: Shonette Scott; his paternal grandmother; Cleatta Williams: his paternal great-grandmother: Lucille Williams; his maternal great-grandmother: Ruby Davis; his step-grandfather: Freddie Williams and his uncle Lance Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory are his father: Brian Williams; two (2) sisters: Kenesha Scott of Franklin, LA. and Kedesha Scott of Kansas City, MO; two (2) brothers; Brian Winfield of Dallas, TX and Brandon Williams: his grandmother: Carolyn Williams of Franklin, LA; his grandfather: Herman Scott, Sr. of Franklin, LA., his niece: Mahogany Scott and nephew Kureem Scott of Kansas City, MO.; a host of other relatives and friends.

DeBriante's love will forever be treasured by those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Internment will be held privately.
