JULIENNE BOURQUE

Julienne Bourque, a spirited and beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on October 5, 1945, Julienne led a life characterized by her zest for living and her undeniable charm that brightened the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

With a personality that could be described as both feisty and sassy, Julienne had a knack for keeping friends and family on their toes. Those who had the pleasure of visiting her knew well that one should never dare to sit in her chair—an unwritten rule that brought laughter and a bit of playful tension into her home. She had a unique ability to engage others with wit and warmth, creating an atmosphere that felt both inviting and exhilarating.

Julienne cherished spending time with her family, nurturing bonds that transcended the everyday hustle of life. She found solace in the simple joys such as watching television, where she delighted in her favorite shows and the comforting routine of being with her loved ones. Her vibrant spirit will continue to echo in the hearts of all who shared these moments with her.

Visitation with family will be held on November 5, 2025, from 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at Fields Funeral Home, located at 712 Center Street, New Iberia, Louisiana. Following this, a graveside service will take place at St John Cemetery in Jeanerette, Louisiana at 12:00 PM, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and bid farewell.
