A Celebration of Life will be held for Keandr Jamal Bruno, 22, a resident of Loreauville, La. on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 11AM at Fields Funeral Home Chapel, 712 Center Street, New Iberia, LA. 70560.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 9AM until the time of service at Fields Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be held at St. John Baptist Church Cemetery (Belle Place), 412 Teche Lake Road, New Iberia, La. 70563.

"For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:6-8

Keandr Jamal Bruno, known for his bright smile and loving personality, departed on October 21, 2023 at 6:05PM. He was born on December 28, 2000, in New Iberia, Louisiana and passed away suddenly at the age of 22 at the Iberia Medical Center - North Campus.

Keandr was a jokester at heart. His contagious smile filled every room, brightening the spirits of those around him. He brought joy to everyone he encountered with his lighthearted and playful nature.

One of Keandr's great loves in life was the water. He found solace and serenity in being close to nature. The sensation of cool water against his skin brought him immense happiness. It is during these moments that Keandr truly felt alive and free.

On Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 6:05 PM, without warning, our beloved Keandr slippe daway from us. The suddenness of his passing has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled. We mourn not only the loss of a beloved son, brother, grandson but also a friend.

In this time of deep sorrow, we remember and honor those who have preceded Keandr in death: paternal grandparents Freddie and Betty Bruno; maternal grandparents Ollie Sr. and Beulah Gilliam; great grandmother Shirley Williams; great grandparents Lincoln and Dorothy Broussard; as well as great-great grandparents Charlie and Zeola Stewart.

Although he is no longer with us, Keandr leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his grieving parents, Bryan K. Bruno, Sr. and Razeeni L. Bruno, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. Keandr's brothers, Kaylon Bruno and Bryan K. Bruno, Jr., will forever remember the fun times they shared and the bond they had that will never be broken. Keandr's memory will also be carried on by his paternal grandparents, Roy E. Stewart and Bara L. Stewart; maternal grandparents Earl J. Williams and Charlene Gilliam; as well as step-grandparent, Lloyd Jones. They will cherish all the moments spent together as a family. Furthermore, Keandr leaves behind a vast network of extended family members and friends who were touched by his kind spirit during his brief time on Earth. Aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless others mourn alongside his immediate family, each holding onto special memories of the joy that Keandr brought into their lives.

In this time of sorrow, let us remember Keandr Jamal Bruno not for the pain of losing him but for the radiant love he shared with all those around him. Let us carry forward his legacy of laughter, kindness, and compassion so that his spirit may continue to touch lives for generations to come.

May you Rest in Peace, dear Keandr, knowing how deeply you were loved by all whose lives you touched. Though your time with us was far too short, your impact will always be immeasurable. You will forever remain alive in our hearts until we meet again!
