Leon Ezeb, a beloved member of the New Orleans community, passed away on January 2nd, 2024, in New Iberia, Louisiana. He was born in New Orleans on December 3rd, 1961, to his loving parents, Geraldine Henderson Ezeb and John Cleo Ezeb.

Leon was known for his vibrant personality and great sense of humor that could brighten up any room. He had a natural talent for making others laugh and bringing joy to their lives. All who had the pleasure of knowing him will remember his infectious laughter.

Of Leon's passions in life was dancing. Whether it was at family gatherings or community events, he would always be found on the dance floor, moving with grace and enthusiasm. He had a natural talent for rhythm and could effortlessly bring happiness to those around him through his dance moves.

Apart from dancing, Leon had a love for landscaping. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to his garden, and creating beautiful landscapes. His dedication and skill in this area were evident in the stunning gardens he made, which brought beauty and tranquility to his surroundings.

Leon will be dearly missed by his entire family and friends. He is survived by his children: Leon Hawkins, Leon Norman, Lashonda Hawkins, Shartina Norman, and Tiffany. Current, as well as his siblings: John Cleo Ezeb III (Mitchelle), Kliens Ezeb (Velma), Dwayne Smith (Angie), Ronnie Smith, Dawn Alexander (Craig), Carisa Calvin (Arthur), Wanda Smith, Landa Evens. His grandchildren will hold cherished memories of their loving grandfather close to their hearts.

Leon's joyful spirit and zest for life will always be remembered. He brought laughter, happiness, and a sense of togetherness to all those around him. His kind heart and warm personality touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting legacy of joy.

Although Leon has left this world, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
