Linda Hanks Castille

Opelousas, LA.- Ms. Linda Hanks Castille, 70, was called to eternal rest on August 12, 2024, in her hometown of Opelousas. She was born on September 29, 1953, in Church Point, LA. and Opelousas, LA.  was where she was called home throughout her life. One of Linda's favorite past times and something she truly enjoyed was baking cakes.

Linda is reunited in the afterlife with her mother: Verdie P. Kidder; her father: David Hanks; her stepfather: Edgar Kidder; her brother: Bobby Hanks; her sister: Roma N. Lanclos; her brother in law: Edward Lanclos; her grandson: Brock Deville; as well as her mother and father in law: Frank and Ida Castille.

She leaves to cherish her memory are her loving husband: Joseph Donald Castille; her son: Blake Castille; her daughter: Nicole Deville; her brother: Raymond Hanks; and her sister: Bonnie Marks (Tommy).

Furthermore, Linda leaves behind five (5) grandchildren: Gavin Deville, Holden Deville, Kaitlin Deville, Brooks Castille, and Blakelyn Castille; seven (7) great-grandchildren: Landyn Deville, Grayson Deville, Kohen Deville, Zayden Deville, Iley Deville, Bentley Castille, and Sailas Vidrine; along with other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.

Linda Hanks Castille's legacy of love and dedication will forever be treasured by those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace knowing that she made a lasting impact on all who knew her.
