New Iberia, LA- Funeral services for Mr. Michael Wayne Moss , 61, who passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 2:16 PM in New Iberia, LA. will be Saturday, January 11, 2025. Visitation with family will begin at 11:00 AM until the time of service. Service will begin at 12:00 PM.

Michael was born on September 25, 1963 to Lilly Mae Hypolite and Tasker Moss, Sr. He was a resident of New Iberia, Louisiana.

Michael was one who enjoyed spending time with family and watching the Dukes of Hazard. He was an advocate for cleaning and keeping up with his favorite football team, the Pittsburg Steelers.

Michael leaves to cherish his life and memory, his six (6) brothers: Clifford Moss, Lloyd Allen (Jennifer) DeRouen III, and Craig Derouen all of New Iberia, LA., Creighton Moss and Kelly Moss of Alexandria, LA., and Brent (Courtney) DeRouen of Baldwin, LA.; five (5) sisters: Cynthia Perry of Oakland, CA, Birdell Moss, Lois DeRouen (Irving) Slaughter and Wanda DeRouen, all of New Iberia, LA., and Andrea DeRouen of Atlanta, GA., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Michael is reunited with his father: Tasker Bruce Moss, Sr.; his mother: Lilly Mae DeRouen; his sister: Beulah M. Milton; his brother: Tasker Bruce Moss, Jr., and a host of other relatives.
