Jeanerette, LA- Funeral services for Monica Landry, 45, who passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 will be Sunday, August 31, 2025 at the Fields Funeral Home Chapel; 712 Center Street-New Iberia, LA. at 4 PM

Monica Lynn Landry, affectionately known as Tutty, was born on August 24, 1980 to James and Peggy Landry. She was a life- long resident of Jeanerette, LA. Monica was one who loved spending time with her children, having movie nights with good conversation, and cooking. She was a very hopeful, open-minded, self-less, and forgiving person who absolutely enjoyed family time. 

Monica worked as an associate for Sunrise Stores for nearly 10 years where she was known for being very helpful. One thing her children will remember is her big smile and warm hugs. She was a mother that would do anything and almost everything for her children. 

Monica is survived by her four (4) children: MaKyia Fields, James Fields, Mayciso Fields, Jr., and Jamason Fields; her mother: Peggy Landry of Jeanerette, LA; her brother: Troy Landry, Sr. of Jeanerette, LA; her niece: Kirsten Landry; and her nephew: Troy Landry, Jr. 

Monica is preceded in death by her father: James Landry; her paternal grandparents: Erenest Landry and Stella Trimble Landry of Jeanerette, LA.; her maternal grandparents: William Kennedy and Irene Kennedy of Weeks Island, LA.
