New Iberia, LA- Funeral services for Terry Charles will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2025 at the Fields Funeral Home; 712 Center Street- New Iberia, LA. 70560. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the time of the service. 

On the tranquil day of June 4, 1984, Terry's life story commenced. He entered the world as a radiant beacon of light, bringing joy to Diane Charles and Early Marks, Sr. Enveloped in limitless affection, his formative years were molded by tender embrace and abundant love.

Terry's legacy lives on through his beloved wife: Tawanna Michael Charles; his son: Richard Lumpkin; his two (2) daughters: Terriana Charles and Khennadie Michael; his father: Earl Marks, Sr.; his two (2) brothers: Earl Marks, Jr. and Ross Charles; his three(3) sisters: Tyrusha Roosevelt, Nicc Charles James, and Sherry Marks; his two (2) grandchildren: Dexton Charles, and Ta'Leiah Charles; his grandmother: Carla Butts; a host of other relatives and friends. 

Terry is preceded in death by his mother: Diane Charles; his maternal and paternal grandparents: Peter and Marcy Marks; Leroy and Margorie Charles; his nephews: Bryson Charles and Terrell Charles; his aunts: Sandy Lumpkin, Hazel Penn, and Irene Scott Nerve. 

The warmth, wisdom, and kindness Terry embodied continue to touch the lives of family, friends, and all who knew him. As we bid farewell, let us remember Terry Charles, not in sorrow, but in the radiance of the joy he brought us. Though his physical presence has departed, his spirit and memories will forever illuminate our hearts.
