New Iberia, LA - A Homegoing Celebration of life for Clarence Bruce "Domino King" Thibodeaux will be held at 11:00AM on February 24, 2024 at Fields Funeral Home, Pastor Joseph Michael Thibodeaux, officiating.

Internment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, 944 W. Main Street, New Iberia, LA.

Visitation hours will be observed at Fields Funeral Home on Saturday, February 24, 2024 beginning at 10:00AM until time of service.

A repass will be held at 300 Parkview Drive, New Iberia, LA 70560.

Clarence was affectionately known as Domino King, Cookie, Bruce, and Bruce Lee. Clarence, 67, was a resident of New Iberia, LA. He transitioned at 10:00AM on February 24, 2024 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA.

Clarence Thibodeaux was born in New Iberia, LA to Joseph Percy Broussard and Shirley Mae Thibodeaux on April 4, 1945.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He attended Abundant Blessings Church under the direction of his brother, Pastor Joseph Michael Thibodeaux. He loved to play Dominoes, fishing, watching movies, writing and singing songs and praising the Lord Jesus Christ, laughing and joking with his family and friends. He worked at Trappery's, The City of New Iberia in Waste Management and McIlhenny in Avery Island.

He leaves to cherish his memory his long time companion Carolina Alfred, five sons: Dwayne Alfred, Sr. (Ayvis) Joseph Alfred, Christopher Alfred, Jeremy Alfred (Brittany) all of New Iberia, LA and Jermaine Alfred of Centerville, LA, four daughters: Victoria of Los Angeles, CA, Marlene Livingston (Joe Nathan), Amanda Martin (Kevin) of New Iberia, LA, Yolanda Alfred of Baton Rouge, LA, three brothers: Joseph Michael Thibodeaux (Anna) of New Iberia, LA, Johnny Thibodeaux (Stacey) of Carencro, LA; Raymond Broussard of New Iberia, LA, five sisters: Margie Nell Smith (David) of New Iberia, LA, Mildred Thibodeaux (Milton) of Breaux Bridge, LA, Patsy Thibodeaux Harper of New Iberia, LA, Gail Russell of New Iberia, LA, Teresa Broussard of New Orleans, LA. Thirty-one grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. A special niece, Brandy Monroe.

He was preceded in death by his father; Joseph Percy Broussard and his mother Shirley Mae Thibodeaux; one son Johnathan Alfred, one brother Roy Thibodeaux, Sr.; one sister Joyce Thibodeaux Okray. Maternal grandparents: O'Neil Thibodeaux and Mary Jones, three aunts Louise Jones, Julia James and Isabella Jones; two uncles: Joseph Thibodeaux and O'Neil Thibodeaux.
