Darrel John Singleton Jr.

New Iberia, Louisiana - A Memorial Celebration of Life for Mr. Darrel John Singleton, Jr., 47, will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Allen R. Randle, Sr., officiant.

Darrel was born February 22,1976 to the late Rev. Darrel J. Singleton Sr. and Mrs. Gloria Singleton. He was a native of New Iberia, LA. Darrel passed away at 10:54 A.M. on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Darrel was a member of Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memory and in God’s care, his mother, Gloria Singleton; three sons: Treyton Hendricks, Isreal Singleton, and Noah Singleton; four daughters: Darilyn Grant, Darius Grant, Breanna Singleton, and Faith Singleton; four brothers: Kevin Singleton (Madeline), Patrick Singleton (Joan), Hayward Robinson, and Emmit Moses; three sisters: Belinda Brown, Tammyica Polk (Ryan) and Hermequa Broussard (Jeremiah); one grandmother, Emma Broussard, ten grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Darrel was preceded in death by his father Rev. Darrel J. Singleton Sr.; maternal grandparents: Wilson Brown, Jr. and Jessie Mae Jenkins and his paternal grandfather, Anthony Singleton.
