Funeral services are pending for Mr. Clarence Johnson, 69, a resident of Lake Charles, LA. He transitioned on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

The Legacy of 

Clarence “Zero” Johnson 

Clarence was born on August 7, 1954, to the late Herbert Johnson Sr. and Florence Brown Simon. He departed this earthly life on December 13, 2023, leaving behind his significant other, Karen Johnson, and six children: Clarence Johnson Jr. (Shante), Teesha Robinson, Dedick Etienne, Faye Reynolds, Karen Johnson, and Florence Johnson. He is also survived by three sisters, Agnes Johnson (John), Glenda Brown, and Teresa Johnson, along with eight brothers: Bobby Brown (Pearl), Ronald Johnson Sr. (Bridgette), Billie Johnson Sr. (Janice), Danny Johnson, David Johnson (Lisa), Jules Johnson (Carolyn), Allen Johnson (Angie) and Herbert Johnson Jr. In addition, Clarence is survived by twenty-five grandchildren, one god-child, Kawoski Johnson, and one aunt, Geraldine Reed (Ed), as well as a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

"He is preceded in death by his parents, Hebert Johnson Sr., and Florence B. Simon, as well as by six brothers: Johnny Sr., Silas, Clifton, Elmo Johnson, Harold Brown Sr., and Lester Simon. He is also preceded in death by six sisters: Betty Lee Ginger Johnson, Lutrica Johnson, Betty Simon, Mary Rose Simon, and Ruby Johnson."

Clarence received an honorable discharge from the US Army and was widely admired for his charming and vibrant personality.
