Kenneth Wayne Arabie, "Big Sexy"

Kenneth Wayne Arabie, "Big Sexy", 54, transitioned from this life on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Iberia Medical Center following a brief illness.

Visitation will be observed at 11 A.M. Saturday, November 12, 2022 until the time of service and will resume at 4 P.M. until 5 P.M.

Words of Comfort and eulogy will be delivered by Rev. Brian Walker of Church on the Rock at 3:00 P.M. Saturday November 12, 2022 at Fields Funeral Home Chapel.

Kenneth Wayne Arabie , “Big Sexy”was born to Melanie K. Arabie and Andrus Arabie on August 07,1968. He departed this life on October 30,2022. Kenneth was a native to small area of new Iberia well known as Lydia. He enjoyed hanging out at Bourbon Hall and loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren while sitting in his chair watching tv. He spent his life working as a Crane Operator at Dynamic Industries and The Bayou Companies also known as Bayou Pipe. He was well known for making everyone laugh and being a person everyone can count on no matter the time or day.
 
He leaves to cherish his memory, his companion: Lela Pimental; three siblings: Clifton Arabie (Deneen), Melvin Arabie, and Soraya A Duplantis (Huey); four children: Summer Bourque (Brent), Joni Arabie, Ren Arabie, and Harley Arabie (Ryan); twelve grandchildren, and two godchildren: Danielle A Charpentier and Kearsten Duplantis.
 
He was proceeded in death by his mother Melanie K. Arabie and grandson, Zayden Arabie.
